At our headquarters in Champaign, Illinois, an old world tradition of fine craftsmanship and painstaking attention to detail is nurtured and preserved. Experienced organ builders, cabinet makers, pipe makers, voicers, designers, and technicians train a select number of apprentices while practicing their respective crafts.

All of our employees are members of the American Institute of Organbuilders, and several hold degrees in church music, organ performance, and other fields of study. The Company's founder, John-Paul Buzard, is a Master Organ Builder (now Fellow) in the AIO, and a member of every American organ-related professional guild. He is also the only non-British resident to be a member of the Worshipful Company of Musicians of the City of London, and a Citizen and Musician of the City of London by redemption.

Our firm is a member of the Associated Pipe Organ Builders of America, an institution of select, proven, major North American organ building firms. We have established a solid reputation in the business community, and we benefit from an excellent credit rating and history with our local financial institutions as well as Dun and Bradstreet.

Shop efficiency, accurate accounting practices, effective long-term planning and a strong commitment to the timely completion of our work have resulted in a stable, well-regarded business with a healthy backlog of contracted commissions. We invite your inquiries and welcome the opportunity to show you our work.

Our Mission

Our goal is simple: to design and build the best pipe organs in the world, and to provide the best workmanship possible in the restoration, rebuilding, and care of existing pipe organs.

We employ qualified and dedicated persons, providing excellent opportunities for their advancement and professional satisfaction, while also providing a dignified compensation and level of benefits. We educate our staff in an ongoing and pro-active manner, following guidelines established by the American Institute of Organbuilders.

We are aware of our wider responsibility to the public: to support local artistic and educational efforts in sacred or secular settings, whether involving organs or not.

We conduct our business in a highly ethical manner, and therefore subscribe to the Statements of Ethics of The American Institute of Organbuilders, The Associated Pipe Organ Builders of America, and The International Society of Organbuilders, of which we are members.

We know who we are. We are artists and engineers, dreamers and pragmatists, conceptualists and perfectionists, all committed to building the best pipe organs in the world. We have fun and take real pride in our work, and we love to share our joy with you, as your custom designed and built pipe organ comes to life—for you, and for the many generations who will play and hear our instruments. You are going to be very comfortable with us!
